Zara joined Belly Dance Goddess in 2005. Initially having joined to improve of her fitness and have fun.

Zara has studied and performed Indian Classical and folk dancing since the age of 7 years.

Over the course of a few months, what started as a hobby soon became very addictive and intriguing – Zara fell in love with the colors, the music, the rhythm and the mystique and history of belly dancing. Her passion and dedication for the art of belly dance has allowed her to progress through the beginners, intermediate and advanced levels to become a professional performer.

“I am very passionate about belly dancing. It has built my confidence and allowed me to express myself in a way I could not previously. My passion is derived from the interaction with an audience and the sheer exhilaration I feel from performing something I love so much:. Zara
